Privacy and control
Hide from the gym list, block or report members, change your handle, or delete your account entirely.
Ratz shows other people that you are training. That is the point of it, and it should always be something you can switch off. Everything here lives under Profile → Privacy & Visibility.
Hide from “at gym now”
Gym Visibility controls whether you appear in the live at gym now list. Turn it off and you train invisibly: your workouts, streak, stats and PRs all keep recording exactly as before, and your Spotify track stops being shared along with your presence.
Your profile shows Hidden from “at gym now” while it is off, so you always know which mode you are in.
Block a member
Blocked Members → Add to block list lets you search by handle and block anyone. A blocked member cannot see your profile, your workouts, or that you are at the gym, and any existing follow connection between you is removed in both directions.
They are not notified. Unblock later and they can see you again, but the old follows do not come back.
Report a member
From any member’s profile, tap Report. Pick a reason (spam, harassment or bullying, inappropriate content, impersonation, or something else) and add detail. Reports come to us directly.
Follows are always reversible
Following is double opt-in, and so is undoing it. Unfollow anyone from their profile, or remove one of your own followers under Profile → Followers → Remove follower. Removing a follower does not notify them.
Your handle
Your handle is your identity in Ratz. There are no real names anywhere in the app. Change it any time with Edit handle under your profile, as long as the new one is free.
Delete everything
Profile → Delete Account permanently removes your account, every workout, and all your social connections. You will be asked to type DELETE first, because it cannot be undone.
